Abstract Expressionism - starts with a strong 'concept' - that is the idea of form -
which then gets 'emotional' with interpretation, colour and brush strokes.
Usually strong and powerful images.
Which make a statement but
more importantly are interesting and inspiring to look at.
Red was used in this context because this is a very long 'entrance' space that need to attract people into the space.
Red is a warm and 'sociable' colour. The form was kept loose - so as not to 'limit' the space.
The image lures and attracts.
